WhereThe larp will take place in The Chellington Centre, Felmersham Road, Carlton, Bedford MK43 7NA. The best way to get there if you are travelling internationally is to fly to any London airport (London Luton is by far the most convenient though!), then take a train to Bedford from London St Pancras (35 min; book tickets in advance), and either a bus or a taxi to the venue (20 min). Depending on how many participants will be coming by car, we might be able to facilitate pick-up at Bedford station.
The venue is a converted church and provides hostel-quality accommodation; you will be sleeping in 4-person bunk bedrooms and share showers (with individual stalls). Bed linen will be provided but you will need to bring your own towels. The venue is wheelchair-accessible. Please contact us with any other accessibility questions. |

TicketsThe tickets are priced at:
This includes accommodation and catering but does not include transport or costume. No payment is needed during sign-up. The first payment of £100 will be due by the end of February and is non-refundable. The remainder will be due by the end of April and can be refunded in case of early cancellations (a month before the larp or more) if we find a replacement player. If you cancel later than that, we will not be able to issue a refund. |
Sign-upThe sign-up period ended on 29 December 2019, but you can still fill in the sign-up form to be added to the waiting list.
The Castle has 22 characters, which will be matched at sign-up with players' preferences. We will discuss characters with their players before and after assignment to tailor the experience to the player. By mid-February we will send you a short description of your character, and you will get your full character sheet by the end of June. ContactThe larp is designed and organised by Karolina Soltys and David Owen. If you have any questions, send us an email to [email protected], or post them in our Facebook group.
